The AVR300 CNC vision system offers comes with dedicated 6.5:1 zoom optics or a quick-change bayonet lens mount which accepts a choice of telecentric lenses for micron-level resolution and optical distortion down to 0.001% for accurate field-of-view (FOV) measurements of  small parts up to 2.00" x 1.50" or large parts with a length up to 8" (AVR200) or 12” (AVR300). The AVR300 video system manufactured by Starrett offers Z-axis measuring, 12" x 8" x 8" travel, a powerful MetLogix software control system, 6.5:1 (optional 12:1) zoom optics and several LED illumination options.

Perfectly designed for quality assurance,  manufacturing, assembly or inspection laboratories, The AVR 300 manufactured by Starrett was also provided with a precision mechanical bearing X-Y-Z stage and column which translates data accurately and repeatably to the MetLogix software.

This compact bench top system includes recirculating ball linear guides for smooth and precise stage motion, full CNC control for high throughput and a granite base for maximum stability.

starrett avr300 operator interfacePrecise and yet powerful,  this video system was built around a 21.5" all-in-one touch screen PC which runs MetLogix M3 CNC software under Windows® 7 Professional.  MetLogix M3 CNC software supports 3-axis measurements and 2D geometrical constructs (points, lines, angles, rectangles). The screen displays a live video image of the part plus geometry tools and digital readings. The part image can be resized using pan and zoom, and measurements can be taken by simply tapping a feature on the screen. With the M3 DXF/FOV option pack, DXF CAD files can be imported over a network and be automatically compared to the actual part.
